Directions (from Yuval)
Our pitas are meant to be heated before eating.
The pitas should be kept frozen (for up to a month). This should happen as soon as possible, but definitely within three days of baking (you can ask when they were baked). There are no preservatives and only four (organic) ingredients – Flour, Yeast, Salt, and olive oil (and water – so technically 5 ) so they will go off if not frozen after a while.
They heat up very well when either toasted or microwaved – It very much depends on your personal preference. The microwave option provides a softer pita – you should probably try it at least once for yourself, because it really isn’t like anything else.
From frozen:
To microwave – 1: clear any ice build-up on the pita 2: wrap in a paper towel 3: microwave on high for 45 seconds 4: enjoy
To toast: Defrost for 30 seconds in the microwave, then toast (the pita should start puffing up in your toaster as the air inside gets hot.
