This 1 hour taster session workshop is perfect for total beginners on a lunch break or straight after work or with the kids! We have offered a cost effective ticket price and short session to get you started on your journey to macrame!

Simply bring in your old tshirt that you no longer use to upcycle into a useful and enchanting hanger which you then use for your favourite plants or as tea light holders.

The basic knots you learn will enable you to make them at home yourself – a perfect zero waste gift for friends and family!

In this taster session, you will receive:

  • small group guided support from start to finish
  • a relaxing, creative 1 hour session to learn a new skill and take home your upcycled hanger!
  • Drink and snack

Material required – an old jersey cotton tshirt, the size should be as large as possible and you can bring more than one if you have it available. You can make as many hangers as you like during your hour session – you will be under your instructor’s guidance at all times if you need help!

Please note you may want to dye it or paint your t-shirt at home to add colour before bringing it to your session or you can also bring t-shirts that are different colours to weave a multi-coloured hanger.

There will be no materials available during your session so please remember to bring your own!

Refreshments are not provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your session start time.

There will be an opportunity to shop in store after your session.

This workshop can also be purchased as a gift for someone else – just write in the notes section where you would like the ticket to be emailed to.

To keep everyone safe without affecting your experience, the following safety measures will be in place:
