Handmade beeswax wraps made in Bournville, Birmingham – individuals 20cm x 20cm. Bee design – base colour comes in ivory, black, or pale blue and will be selected at random. Fabric is 100% cotton. A great alternative to cling film – comes with use and after care instructions.

Ingredients:
Composed of 100% cotton fabric, infused with natural beeswax, dammar resin, coconut and jojoba oils. Dammar tree resin adds tackiness and I chose it as an alternative to pine resin, which is commonly used in beeswax wraps, due to its use in food, as a glazing or clouding agent, and the oils add pliability. Beeswax, jojoba and coconut oils all contain naturally occurring antibacterial properties. If you correctly care for these wraps, they can last months, dependent on usage.

Care: Full care instructions are included with the wraps, however:
• no hot food, raw meat or fish
• wash with mild soap and cool water
• use the warmth of your hands to mould into shape
• please note… the wraps will naturally age and crease, through use
