FAQs

Thank you for visiting our Christmas pre-order site. It exists purely to allow you to purchase all the food you would need for a perfect vegetarian Christmas – we even have a few last minute crackers and gift ideas if you want something for the table. Below are some FAQ’s relating to Click and Collect or Delivery orders.

When do I need to order by?

Our order cut off point is when we reach our 75 order capacity or if that is not reached, the cut off is 12pm on Saturday 18th December, (the earlier you order, the more likely we can guarantee your product will be in stock). Most of the products on this menu are produced by local independents who require sufficient notice in order to prepare the amounts we need. This is especially true if you are expecting to make a larger order.

What is your minimum order?

Our minimum order amount is £30 (ex delivery fee). However, due to having a reduced product list for Christmas we are removing our packing charge completely!

Do you charge a packing fee?

No, due to having a reduced product list for Christmas we are not charging for packing.

When can I collect / when do you deliver?

Normal click and collect orders can be picked up from Bournville as normal up to Wednesday 22nd December, however, the following dates and times are set aside for the Christmas Pre-order Menu only.

What if we’re not going to be in during your delivery times?

Not to worry – if you’re not going to be at home when we deliver, we can leave your order with a neighbour or somewhere that it won’t get damaged by the lovely British weather.

On the cart page there is a text box for special instructions for seller, please give the number of the house where you would like it dropped off or give a detailed description of your safe place.

Will you be stopping your usual click and collect or delivery services?

Normal click and collect orders can be picked up from Bournville as normal up to Wednesday 22nd December, but there will be no normal click and collect service on Thursday 23rd December. We will re-open our regular click and collect service on Wednesday 29th December.

All other delivery services will resume as normal week commencing 27th December.

We are closing for this period to make sure that the whole team get a chance to have a well-earned relax and spend time with family.

Will I be able to add anything to my order when I collect

If you realised you missed something of your Christmas order – or you missed some of the new products we added – simply put through another order and choose ‘Top-up order’ in the delivery selection. You won’t be charged for a second delivery cost and we’ll combine the orders to be collected at the same time!

If you want to add items that aren’t on the Christmas website but are in-stock in the shop, then it may be best to put through a normal click and collect order to pick up on 22nd December; or come into the store during opening hours on 22nd or 23rd December. Due to the expectation that the Christmas click and collect service will be very busy, but if it is just one or two items to add then we are leaving it up to the discretion of the team members serving on the night. Regular click and collect orders are still being made through our www.thecleankilo.co.uk website.

Will I be able to make alterations or get a refund if I want to cancel my order?

We have created this website in order to make it possible for us to order the amount of fresh food that is required and reduce waste. It is therefore no possible for us to make any alterations or cancellations/refunds after you have made a purchase, as we make our orders based on demand.
